Traci Seto

Traci Seto lived her first 32 years on the East coast, growing up in Pennsylvania and then living in Maryland for 10 years. She moved to northern California in 2001 and loves it here. She appreciates the California weather that allows her to run and train comfortably year round. She is married and the mother of three boys (Jacob 18, Matt 16, Noah 16) and one girl (Kaili 12). It was in high school that Traci first discovered her love for distance running. Over the years, she has pursued many athletic endeavors, including running, body building, kung fu, and most recently triathlon. In 2008, a friend convinced Traci to give the sport of triathlon a try. Without really knowing how to swim or bike, she completed her first race, a Total Body Fitness Super Sprint, and was instantly hooked. The following summer she did two more triathlons, and the passion continued to grow from there. Since then, Traci has competed in over 40 triathlons, including 7 half Ironman distance and 3 full Ironman distance races (2013 IM Lake Tahoe, 2014 IM Arizona, 2016 IM Vineman). She enjoys destination racing at new locations in order to combine her sport with a family vacation.
Traci lives on a farm in Wilton. She loves her animals, garden and active lifestyle. She is a middle school math teacher and a youth running and triathlon coach; yet she always makes time for her own training. She can usually be found taking one of her kids to running, soccer or wrestling practice, attending one of their sporting events, or racing alongside her kids. She hopes to one day race the Ironman World Championships in Kona, but until then she will keep enjoying the journey.
