Freeplay Mountain Bike Escapes & Clinics Overview
The 2017 program includes two 3-day escapes and five half-day clinics.
Half-Day Clinics
Each half-day clinic is 4 hours and includes small group skills breakout sessions, a coached ride on single track trails, post-ride Q&A, snacks, a t-shirt and a goodie bag. The clinics are geared for all levels of riders from beginner on up. Each clinic includes multiple trail options allowing for differentiated instruction and coached rides.
These 4 hour clinics are perfect for women who want to learn to mountain bike, those training for upcoming off-road rides and Xterra triathlons and women who just love to ride for fun but are looking to improve their skills!
3-Day Escapes
The 2017 program includes two 3-Day Escapes: Truckee, CA and Sedona, AZ. The three day events allow women to “escape” with their mountain bike to beautiful locations full of single track trails and spectacular views.
These weekends escapes provide women with more skills practice time and more time on the trails. At these 3-day events women can partake in morning yoga, Friday night happy hour, Q&As on nutrition, bike maintenance and training and a group dinner.
The 3-Day Escapes include 2 skills sessions, 2 coached rides, optional Saturday morning yoga for cyclists, Friday Night Meet and Greet, continental breakfast Saturday and Sunday morning, MTB Q&A sessions, group dinner opportunity, t-shirt and goodie bag.
