Rocklin, CA (February 17, 2015) – Team Freeplay, a Northern California based women’s team composed of both professional triathletes and top age-group athletes, is proud to partner with Boost Swimming this season. Boost Swimming an emerging company in the sports and outdoor industry that is committed to helping swimmers and triathletes of all ages and abilities achieve their athletic goals.
Boost Swimming, which is based out of the Sacramento-area, was found by Coach Jeff Pearson. Pearson has 20 years experience working with some of the world’s best swimmers. Person is a two time USA National Open Water Swim Champion and a USA National Team Member.
Working with Pearson at Boost swimming is Coach Chris Stehula. Stehula has 15 years of triathlon racing experience which includes 2003 Junior Elite Triathlete of the Year, a Collegiate National Championship title, and 8 years of racing as a professional triathlete.
“Partnering with Boost Swimming this season is a great opportunity for the women on the Freeplay triathlon team,” said Stephanie Artis, Freeplay triathlon team director. “This new partnership will enable Freeplay team athletes to work on their open water swim techinique and improve their swim fitness through Boost Swimming’s guided workouts.”
In addition to offering four weekly open water swim options at Lake Natoma and in the Tahoe area, Boost Swimming hosts clinics, conducts private instruction, performs underwater swim analysis and creates custom training programs for athletes.
