Entries to Challenge Family’s newest race in the USA, Challenge Rancho Cordova, have opened bringing a new era of triathlon experience to California.
With 24 races around the world, Challenge Family is renowned for its focus on athlete experience, community engagement and inclusiveness at all ages and abilities. This ethos filters down from the world’s greatest long distance triathlon, Challenge Roth in Germany, and the philosophy of the Walchshöfer family who run the international long distance triathlon series.

As well as the half distance triathlon for individual and professional triathletes, Challenge Rancho Cordova will feature the relay team category, allowing friends and family to race together. The relay teams also make long distance triathlon more accessible to a wider range of athletes, allowing them to be a part of the unique long distance triathlon atmosphere at a more manageable level. It also illustrates Challenge Family’s commitment to the future of the sport, acting as building block as participants build from one to all three disciplines over time.

Continuing its focus on a celebration of sport, Challenge Rancho Cordova will also feature an Aquabike discipline, allow those who aren’t able to run to still be a part of this ground breaking event. Other events include a Junior Challenge Rancho Cordova as well as a fundraising initiative soon to be announced involving some of the biggest names in the sport.

Tri clubs can take advantage of the Challenge Rancho Cordova Tri Club/Team VIP Programme which includes exclusive hosting opportunities, discounted accommodation, promotional opportunities, VIP passes and goody packs. Clubs should contact Challenge Rancho Cordova at info@challenge-ranchcordova.com to hold their exclusive entries in the race and more information about VIP Program.
