You have done them all by now; fun runs, runs in the mud, bubbles, and obstacle courses – Why not have fun in the water this time! Nor Cal SUP, a Stand Up Paddle board fitness company, is proud to announce the dates of the next two races in the three races series of the #PaddleSplash Festival. Held on beautiful Lake Natoma, in Folsom California on September 25, 2016 and October 9, 2016, with races for paddlers of all abilities. The events’ signature finale involves a 4-team relay paddling around an obstacle course on the water where team costume is encouraged.

“Stand Up Paddling is a non-impact sport, yet it is a great way to build and maintain your strength and balance,” said Shelly Alves-Churilo, owner of Nor Cal SUP, “Plus, it is a great excuse to splash around in the water with your friends and family.”

#PaddleSplash Festival: After paddling or splashing across the finish line, paddlers and spectators can celebrate at the #PaddleSplash Festival featuring music, educational sessions, giveaways and fun activities on the beach and in the water. The #PaddleSplash Festival is open to the public at Nimbus Flat on Lake Natoma and will close at 1:00pm following the race.

Shelly further adds, “This is a family oriented event, to help parents get to know SUP and the GROMs program (juniors race program) which will be kicked off in January of 2017.”

Registration (http://www.norcalsup.com/races/) is open to all and the early price will run until September 16, 2016 for those wanting to save some cash. The first 10 people to use this code will receive $10 off their entry. This offer is not valid with team discounts.
